Safely and proactively operate, troubleshoot, and optimize blow molding machines
Support unscheduled downtime on production lines
Monitor and adjust bottle processes to optimize bottle quality and correct defects, including the completion of hourly quality checks
Execute preform and bottle changeovers
Help in the maintenance shop rebuilding components
Assist with equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and rebuilds as needed
Responsible for daily communication among his counterparts on his shift, as well as the oncoming shift
Requirements
3+ years of work experience operating blow molding equipment, troubleshooting blow mold components (i.e. t-arm, spindle, blowing valves), and processing experience is needed
Solid computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Effective communication of issues and solutions to cross-functional team members
Experience in high-speed manufacturing, bottling, beverage, packaging, or plastics industries
